As an antiaging supplement, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration has approved Protandim using the phrasing in its advertising that 30 days use will reduce the free radical damage to the level of a 20 year old or less - whether one is 20, 40, 60 or 80 years old.

After 2 months on Protandim, I was given a very difficult training schedule by Simon. It included 3 hard days of intervals in a row: Day 1 (8 x 1' at 500w), Day 2 (3 x 10' of 30"/30" at 450w+) and Day 3 (2 x 20' at LT or 300-320w). Normally, I'd be struggling to complete Day 2, let alone attempt Day 3. However, to my surprise, I was able to complete BOTH intervals on Day 3 at 310w and 313w averages!!! Protandim and Sports Recovery
My personal story on Protandim began in November 2010 when I started taking this small yellow pill. After about 8 weeks of taking Protandim daily, I experienced some significant changes in my ability to recover faster after hard training.
At the time I was experimenting with taking 2 Protandim tablets daily while I performed extremely intense bike workouts for 4 days in a row. Cat Testimony
I have a 13 year old female cat that got deathly ill in March 2011. After the 3rd vet visit in a 2 week period and antibiotics, fluids, and x-rays, they finally diagnosed her as having bacterial arthritis which is similar to rheumatoid arthritis in humans. She was literally on her death bed, unable to use either of her hind legs, not eating, drinking, or using the litter box. The vet suggested the only thing they do for her was to keep her on Prednisone and chemo drugs the rest of her life and they didn’t even know if that would work.
When I got home from the vet that day, I was devastated! I am an acupuncturists and herbalist so I knew there had to be an alternative route. I had been taking Protandim for about a month and I was feeling pretty good so I did my research to see if it was safe for animals. It is! That night I cut about ¼ of a tablet dissolved in hot water and gave to my cat with a syringe. She immediately had projectile vomit and RAN out of the room. Let me remind you that she has hardly moved in 2 weeks. I have been giving to her and my other 2 cats everyday since then. The 13 year old that was on her death bed 3 months ago is now running, jumping, and playing like she is 3 years old. Absolutely Amazing!
